Coleman
The Coleman surname first appeared in the Paterson family tree when Margaret Paterson (1890-1990) married Arthur Roy Coleman. Margaret was the daughter of John Creighton Paterson and Fanny Hope, and the granddaughter of James Paterson Jr. and Jane Irving.  Margaret's son Murray carried the Coleman name forward when he married Kathleen Steil and they had nine children. Creighton
The Creighton surname first appeared in the Paterson family tree when Margaret Paterson (1834-1901) married James Creighton.  Margaret was the daughter of Robert Paterson and the granddaughter of Edward and Jane Paterson, the family's grand patriarch and matriarch. Margaret and James had 13 children, the longest living of whom was Helen Creighton (who married James Graham). The Creightons and the Grahams may still live in Scotland.
